Karen Mae Reinert, 62, of Rockford died on August 12, 2014 at 8:52 p.m. in SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born on July 5, 1952 in Rockford, daughter of Everett and Margaret (MacCallum) Johnson. Karen was formerly employed at the Mendelssohn Club. Survived by her daughters, Jamie Reinert, Jody Reinert both of Rockford; grandchildren, Bruce, Dilyn, Rachel, Rayne, Jonathan; great-grandson, Harvey; siblings, Lisa (Doug) Johnson of Rockford, Liz White of Pecatonica, Sandy (Roy) Miller of Winnebago, and Russell Johnson of Rockford; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Rodney Johnson. A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to 1643 N. Alpine Rd.
