Karen Loreen Ramey, 69, of Loves Park was welcomed into the hands of God on December 11, 2021. Born November 4, 1952; daughter of Henry and Caroline (Reese) Eckebrecht.
Karen spent most of her life being a loving homemaker, wife and mother. She valued her family and friends, as they were the most important part of her life. She will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting, drawing, shopping, country music (Elvis Presley being her favorite musician), and scary movies. Our mom was a very gentle spiritual soul. She didn't have much, but what she had gave all. Survived by her children; Loreen (Jim) Angus, Frank Ramey Jr.; grandchildren, Marcus (fiancée Laura), Rachael (Rae) Oscar, Victoria, Oskar, Reiley (Jon), Madison, Tala; great-grandchild Navaya; sister-in-law; LaVerne Eckebrecht; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Ramey Sr.; David Bridges (significant other); and siblings Hank (Sonny) Eckebrecht and Jerry (Linda) Eckebrecht.
