Karen Marie Anderson age 61, of Rockford, passed away at home unexpectedly July 7, 2012.
Karen was born in Rockford to Arthur and Mildred (Acardo) Anderson on December 23, 1950. She was a 1968 graduate of West High School. She enjoyed reading and being involved in church activities. Karen was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mildred; grandparents on both the Acardo and Anderson side, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her cousins Joyce, Mike (Patti), Tony (Sharon) Acardo, John (Mary Jane) Acardo, Linda Bown and several extended family members. A graveside memorial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 10:30 am with pastor Bob Taylor of Rockford First Church officiating.
