Judy K. McNiff, 69, of Rockford died on January 4, 2017 in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born on July 31, 1947 in Rockford, daughter of Harold and Betty (Fulkerson) Southard. Judy was raised in Rockford, by her mother and step-father, Allen "Curly" Warr. Graduate of Auburn High School. United in marriage to James McNiff on November 22, 1974 in Rockford. Formerly employed at Quaker Oats and CamCar Textron. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister and aunt. Former member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Survived by her husband, James of Rockford; daughters, Melissa (Daniel) Myhre, of Rockford, Machelle (Bill) Pinkston of Rockton, Amanda (Ryan) Murray of Putnam Valley, NY; grandchildren, Bradley and Alyssa Myhre of Rockford, Billy and Zack Pinkston of Rockton; great-grandchildren, Karmissa Garcia-Myhre, Jordan Dickman, and Karmonie Garcia-Myhre; brothers, Harold (Jan) Southard Jr. of Rockford, Robert (Salme) Southard of Las Vegas, NV; extended family, Sue Schaffman, Terry (Theresa) Warr, Danny, Craig, Carl and Janet Southard. Preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Judy's life will be on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at The Eagle's Club, 3829 11th St, Rockford, Memorial Visitation at 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
