Josephine M. Tinerella, 81, of Belvidere died December 5, 2022. Born January 9, 1941 in Chicago; daughter of Thomas and Pauline (Desalvo) Tinerella. Josephine retired from Ravenswood Electronics, where she was employed as a Manufacturing Supervisor. Josephine was devoted to her family and full of love for them all. She was a talented cook and baker. Her strudel, Puerto Rican rice and pasta sauce were some of her most highly anticipated and loved meals. She was a skilled seamstress, creating unique Halloween costumes for her family and beautiful outfits. In her later years, she enjoyed visiting local restaurants; especially Rosati's in Belvidere, where she loved visiting with manager and special friend, Manny Juarez. Survived by son, Michael (Elizabeth) Tinerella; granddaughter, Shannon (Nathan Pierce) Tinerella; great-grandchildren; Sophia Tinerella, Grayson Pierce, Kegan Pierce; sisters, Francis (David) Damato, Antionette (Richard) Fry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long special friend, Shirley Baker. Preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Andrea Tinerella; brothers, Samuel Tinerella, Thomas Tinerella and sister, Pauline Tinerella.
