Joseph "Bonzo" Francis Niezgodzki, 86, of Caledonia died on August 17, 2017 in SwedishAmerican Health System. Born on September 3, 1930 in Chicago, son of Matthew and Frances (Gaskowski) Niezgodzki. Joseph served in the United States Army in the Korean War. United in Marriage to Lillian Ann Frey on December 16, 1978. Joseph was formerly employed at McGill's in Marengo, retiring from Wauconda Tool. He enjoyed playing pool and hanging out with his coffee klatch at McDonald's. Joseph, and his wife Lillian were Civil War reenactors. He also was active at Sycamore Speedway as a pit crew member for his son's race car. Survived by his children, Jeff "Butch" (Chris) Niezgodzki, Michael "Mickey" Niezgodzki, Robin Hochleutner, Mary Ellen Stickling, Lori Borgman, Matt (Laura) Niezgodzki, Mary (Jeremy) Hopper; grandchildren, Vanessa, Jenny, Katie, Megan, Kristen, Austin, Hailey, Darlene, Ellie, Kenzie, Amy, Margie, Bobbie, Joey and Cody; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Malikowski; and Lillian's extended family, including her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George and Walter Niezgodzki and wife, Lillian on July 17, 2017. Memorial Visitation on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 S. Alpine Rd.
