Joey McLeod, 51, of Rockford went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2019. Born on January 17, 1968 in LaPuente, CA, son of Hugh Jenkins and Alma McLeod. United in marriage to Jacqueline Bowser on September 16, 2001 in Rockford. Joey was employed as a truck driver. Member of Rockford United General Baptist Church. Survived by his wife; children, Hayley (Robert) VerHagen, Hannah McLeod, Hunter McLeod; siblings, Scott (Margaret) McLeod, and Misty McLeod, all of Rockford. Preceded in death by his parents and infant sister. Memorial visitation on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4-5 p.m. at Rockford United General Baptist Church, 3126 Marshall St. Rockford, followed by a Celebration of Joey's Life at 5 p.m. Pastor Wayne Hodge will officiate.
