Loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister
Joanne B. Hunt, 79, of Rockford died on April 2, 2015 in her home. Born on March 14, 1936 in Iowa, daughter of Herbert and Gladys (Jones) Shipley. Survived by her daughters, Bonnie Meckler, Wanda Hilton and Tammy (Cecil) Johnson Jr., all of Rockford; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sister, Patricia Eddy of Rockford. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter Rosemary Farmer and 5 siblings. Joanne's family is grateful to Heartland Hospice for their loving care.
