Obituary

Jeremy Allan Hull, 33, of Rockford, passed on February 6, 2026. He was born on October 11, 1992, in Rockford, the son of William and Michelle (Hoops) King. Jeremy graduated from Durand High School in 2011. He was united in marriage to Stephnie Kiser on October 9, 2020. He was employed by the City of Rockford as an Equipment Operator in the Public Works Water Division for the past 7 years. He enjoyed hockey and, when he was younger, played for the Jr. Icehogs. In his free time, Jeremy enjoyed playing video games online with his friends. His favorite games were Torn and Call of Duty. In addition to playing with his friends, Jeremy enjoyed it when his daughters, Barbara and Amelia, joined in the fun. He was a loving, devoted, and caring father. When at home, you could find Jeremy playing hide and seek, wrestling, and playing pranks on his children. His pranks didn't end there. He loved visiting his parents and hiding all the silverware before heading home. Jeremy met his loving wife on January 31, 2013, shortly after she relocated to the area; they were true partners and best friends, devoted to each other and their daughters. Jeremy also enjoyed preparing dinner each evening for his family; he was a fantastic cook. From a young age, it was evident that one of his favorite foods was cheese, in all forms; powder, brick, or sliced, he loved it all. He was affectionately called "Mouse" by his parents and could be found munching on a brick of cheese straight from the fridge or hiding the wrappers from the sliced cheese behind the television stand. His love of cheese followed him into adulthood. He was not a stranger to Velveeta and considered it "Liquid Gold." He would create concoctions and bring them to family gatherings, sometimes to his sister's dismay. Jeremy's passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who loved him and knew him. His kindness, funny personality, and the love he showed have made an impact on the people in his world. His legacy will live on in the lives of his beautiful daughters. He is survived by his wife, Stephnie Hull; daughters, Barbara and Amelia Hull; parents, William and Michelle King; sister, Kyrie (Derek) Ziesmer; nephew, Ellis Ziesmer; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Hoops; paternal grandmother, Vicki King; mother-in-law, Penny Whited; brother-in-law, Hunter Whited; many uncles, aunts, cousins and a large circle of friends, near and far. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William King, and Charles and Beverly Hull. His visitation will be on February 21, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St., Rockford; followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Jennifer Thompson, Funeral Celebrant, will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Share a memory or condolence at www.graceFH.com .
