Jennifer "Jeni" Rondone, 72, was born and raised in Rockford. She recently returned after living in Riviera Beach, FL for 20 years. Jeni died November 10, 2021. Born April 21, 1949 in Rockford; daughter of Samuel C. and Nellie (Veitch) Berchiolly. Jeni was a strong, independent woman who cared deeply about others. She enjoyed cooking meals and assisting her neighbors in her Florida community. She was a skilled crochet and knit artisan, making beautiful keepsakes for her family and friends. Formerly employed as a Purchasing Agent for Dixon Automatic Tool and as a bookkeeper/hostess at the Sailboat Marina in Singer Island, FL and the Boat House in Lake Worth, FL. Survived by her siblings; Judy (Russell) Arnold, Daniel Berchiolly, Jackie (Frank) Fasula Jr., Kris Berchiolly, Lorrie (Donald) Bondick; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; special nephews, Joe Bondick, Matt Berchiolly; God children, Frankie Fasula III, Andrea Lucchesi; special friends; Erica Martinez, Paul Stabile, Georgene Callies, Betty Scalise, Shirley Bennett and Barbie Kianka. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Rondone; brothers, Thomas Berchiolly and Samuel Berchiolly. At Jeni's request, her body was donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois for the advancement of science; no services will be held.
