Jeffery M. Symons, 45, passed away suddenly in his home May 14, 2017. Born February 21, 1972 in Loves Park, son of Larry Sharon (Mueller) Symons. Jeff was a very dedicated father and grandfather. He loved playing pool, spending time with family and enjoying his days off with a cold beer and good friends. Jeff was the type of friend and father you could always count on to be there. He touched a lot of lives in the short 45 years he was on this earth. A big piece of our hearts was taken the day God called him home. Survived by his children, Brooke Symons, Alexander Martinson, Heather Jones; grandchildren, Liam, Cameron and Wesley Jones, Zaedyn Bauer, Thomas and Serena Martinson-Stuen, Erica and Jessica Freid; father, Larry Symons; grandfather, Milt Auman; and siblings, Clint Symons and Chrissy Symons. Preceded in death by his mother. Celebration of life on May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Rockford Church of Christ, 1141 20th Ave. Rockford, memorial visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
