Jeffrey "Jeff" Jones, 75, of Rockford, IL died on November 1, 2026. He was born on November 30, 1950 in Richmond, MO to Harold and Mildred (Glumsic) Jones. Jeff married Jan Eakins (nee Kessler) in 1985 in Belleville, IL. He drove a truck for Landstar, enjoyed antiques, traveling and flying his plane.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jan and two half-brothers, Bradley (Denise) and Barry Jones. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Greg Jones and half-brother, Todd Jones. The family would like to express their gratitude for all of the loving care that Jeff received from Dr. Tripp, Dr. Rochwani as well as all of the nurses and staff at Javon Bea Hospital.

Cremation rites will accorded. No services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Jeff's name at the Winnebago Humane Society, 4517 N. Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103
