Jeannette M. DeShaw Haight, 62 of Rockford died on November 29, 2018. Born March 4, 1956 in Rockford the daughter of George and Nancy DeShaw. Jeannette attended Winnebago High School and earned her Bachelor's degree from Lincoln Christian College. She worked for over 30 years as an administrator at Milestone, Inc., 12 years as Vice President of Operations for Careers, Etc., Inc. and most recently Program Coordinator for the Rock Valley College Raise Program. She married Stephen M. Haight on March 22, 2002. Jeannette loved reading, baking, hiking in the words with her husband and their dogs and decorating her home for all the seasons and holidays. She was predeceased by her parents George and Nancy DeShaw and is survived by her husband Stephen Haight, step-son Brandon Haight (whom she loved as her own), her sister Suzanne Scott, brother in-law John Scott, niece Pamela Scott, bothers and sisters-in law Barry and Marlies Haight, and Philip and Beverly Haight in addition to many long–time friends and colleagues. A celebration of life reception will be held on Friday December 7, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 3829 11th St., Rockford. Memorial gifts to the Circle of Change Veterans Dog Program are requested in lieu of flowers.
