Jayleigh Anne Elizabeth Atkinson, the beautiful and beloved infant daughter of Brian and Jessie Atkinson went to Heaven on November 13, 2014. Born on September 2, 2014 in Rockford. Although Jayleigh's time on earth was short, she made an impact on her family that will never be forgotten. "Our beautiful, precious, sweet baby girl, gone; but never forgotten. Although we are apart, your spirit lives with us, forever in our heart. We love you so much baby girl, we miss you so much. Until we meet again sweet angel, we will keep you forever close to our hearts." Survived by her parents; brothers, Julian and Jericho Atkinson; grandparents, Steve Keller, Donna and Brad Hieb, Mary and Jerry West, Kristina Atkinson; Aunts and Uncles, Brianna Keller, Lisa (Seth) Wogen, Crystal (Brandon) Smalley, Amanda Atkinson, Devan Atkinson, Jon (Danielle Griffin) Atkinson, Christopher Atkinson, Elizabeth (Michael Ganther) Nicol, Jeff (Tasha Walters) Hieb, Brittnay Hieb; cousins, Samara Gray, Alexus, Jeremy, and Jonathan Atkinson, Jayden, Haydn, and Chase Wogen, Neveah and Noah Smalley, Vincent and Phoenix Atkinson, Caleb Ganther, Todd Walters; great-grandparents, Evelyn Keller, Dolores Elder and Cecil Elder. Preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, and grandpa, Vincent Atkinson. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 21, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 South Alpine Rd. Rockford. Visitation at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jim Moore of Riverside Assembly of God will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are requested. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park.
