Janice Marie Johnson, 66, of Rockford went to be with Jesus on May 1, 2014. She was born August 3, 1947 in Rockford, daughter of Donald and Adele (O'Rourke) Blakeley. United in Marriage to William Johnson in June of 1997. Janice loved her children with all her heart. Her kindness and giving spirit will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters; Lori (Pete) Montana, Lisa (Joel) Montoya; son, Michael Dosier; grandchildren, Whitney (Steve) Stoltz, Gabrielle Montana, Amanda Montoya, Andrea Montoya, Joel Montoya, Allison Montoya, Alexis Montoya; Siblings, Jim (Susan) Blakeley, Jeanie (Mike) Drake; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and husband William. A Celebration of Janice's Life will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Grace Family Church, 3202 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Rockford. Chaplain Ed Greenfield will officiate. Visitation at 10 a.m. until the time of service. Private interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
