Janet Helen Mason, 78, of Rockford died on May 28, 2013 at 9:40 a.m. at SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born on April 9, 1935 in Rockford, daughter of Mauritz and Helen (Morris) Johnson. Employed for 50 years at the Fairview Shopping Plaza. Survived by her children; Cynthia (Gary) Sumner of Rockton, Stephen Mason of Rockford, Scott (Linda) Mason of Rockford; grandchildren, Steven (Krista) Sumner, Brian (Megan) Sumner, Lilly Mason, Emily Mason; great-grandchildren, Abbi, Hayden, Landon and Liam Sumner.
