Janet B. Arends, 77, of Rockford died June 20, 2021 in Elmhurst. Born September 9, 1943 in Sycamore, IL; daughter of James and Lucille (Carls) Cave. Janet was formerly employed at First National and Amcore Banks. Survived by her son, Jon (Tricia) Arends; granchildren, Jenna and Jakeb Arends and Samantha Klus; sister, Joann (Lawrence) Baker and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents. Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a cat lover and had many special kitties over the years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
