James M. Lawrence Sr. 71, of Belvidere died on December 11, 2013 at 11:52 p.m. in Belvidere. He was born on October 25, 1942, in Peoria, son of Claude and Bessie (Ritchie) Lawrence. Graduate of Dundee Crown High School. Served in the United States Army. United in marriage to Andrea Huth on November 30, 1963. Survived by his wife, Andrea; sons, James M. (Kathie) Lawrence Jr., Anthony C. (Shannon) Lawrence; grandchildren, Amber (Wayne) Jett, Aubrie, Abbie, Anthony, TJ, Bradley Lawrence, Gavin Lariviere; Jimmy Orlando, Ashley, Brittany, Carlie, and Trevor Austin; great grandchildren, Nick, Caleb, Landon, Alexa and Madison; sister, Joan Howell; brother, Eugene Lawrence; and extended family. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Trudy Carlson, Sherian Moller; granddaughter, Amy Lawrence-Lipinski; and great-granddaughter, Maison Lipinski. Cremation rites will be accorded.
