Jacob Allen Stewart, 33, of LaMoille; died on June 22, 2024. Born November 28, 1990 in McAllister, OK; son of Jacque Jones and Jeffrey Stewart. Jacob graduated from LaMoille High School, class of 2009, he also attended St. Bede's High School. He played Junior Tackle Football from a young age and was on the team at LaMoille High School. Jacob was employed at Green Thumb Industrial in Oglesby, as a delivery driver in addition to working as a Chef at several bar and grills in the community. His presence is greatly missing by all who knew and loved him. Jacob had a giving, compassionate heart and truly lit up a room. He was always available to lend a helping hand, give a hug or crack a joke. Jacob was very intelligent and had a head full of off the wall facts about pretty much any topic. His sense of humor and jokes will also be missed. He enjoyed playing video games from a young age, and continued to play online with his friends throughout the course of his adult life. If he wasn't helping people or working, you could find him playing Guitar Hero, Halo, Zelda and Call of Duty, among other games. Survived by his parents, Jacque Jones and Jeffrey Stewart; siblings, Taylor (Layne Corley) Schultz, Brittany (Brett) Allison, Henry Stewart, Veronica Stewart, Garrett Stewart; niece, Athena Corley; nephew, Atlas Allison; maternal Granny, Sheila Jones; maternal Paw Paw, Troy Stephen Jones; paternal grandmother, Janet Stewart; aunts and uncles, Jeanie (Stephen) Browning, Lillie (Jim) Hamilton, Melissa (Kelly) Schweickert, Phillip (Kelly) Steward, Kevin (Delinah) Stewart; special friends, Nicholas Twardowski, Matthew Galloway, Aaron Cores, Kristin Wheeler, a circle of other friends, near and far and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arland Stewart. Cremation rites accorded. Celebration of Jacob's life on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the LaMoille Lion's Club, 308 East Howard Street, LaMoille, IL 61330 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
