Jack E. Hieb, 86, of Rockford went to be with our Lord June 17, 2022. Born July 9, 1935 in Merrill, WI; son of Ellsworth and Olga (Rostalsky) Hieb. Veteran of the United States Army. United in marriage on February 14, 1959 to Ruth Michael. They were wed 59 years before her passing in 2018. Jack was known for his dedication to his wife and children, grandpa Hieb to his grandbabies and grand-doggies; as well as an opera lover. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by sons; Brad (Donna) Hieb, AJ Hieb; grandchildren, Jeff Hieb, Brittany Hieb, Jessie Keller, Brianna Keller, Toshia Huble, Amanda (Videlia) Acosta, Brittany (Martell) English; great-grandchildren, Marley Plunkett, Samara Keller, Jasper Abell, Oliver Abell, Julian Atkinson, Jericho Kalen, Jaylynn Aldanda, Arianna McCollom, Macey English, Madilynn English and Scarlett Acosta. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; brother, Warren Hieb and great-granddaughter Jayleigh Atkinson. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
