Ina Margarita Elliott, 87, of Rockford went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2013 at 1:15p.m after a short illness. Ina was born on June 13, 1925 in Falun, Sweden; daughter of Thyra Jansson. She was married on June 24, 1942 to Leo Forrest Elliott. They were married for 55 years. Ina is survived by her three daughters; Pamela (Donald) Dellamater, Suzanne (William) Orr, Jayme (Donald) Erdmann. Grandchildren are; Jennifer (Peter) Bates, Brian (Heather) Dellamater, Mark (Stacy) Rummel, Ryan Erdmann, Ethan Erdmann, seven beautiful great grandchildren and sister-in-law Janice Norberg. Ina was a member of First Evangelical Free Church. She participated in the Thyra Circle and Friendship Bible Class. Ina enjoyed spending time with her family, baking goodies that she shared with friends and knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents Anders and Thyra, step-father August Bernard Norberg, husband Leo F. Elliott, daughter Debra Rummel, brother B. Lennart Norberg, and sister June Rettig. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at First Evangelical Free Church, 2223 North Mulford Road Rockford, with Pastor Chuck Rife officiating. Visitation is at 1:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Rockford Rescue Mission, or First Evangelical Free Church. Private family interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
