Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother
Hester "Lou" Fritz, 73, of Belvidere went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2014 at 4:40 p.m. in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 27, 1940 in Pond Gap, WV; daughter of George and Mary (Jeffery) Ransom. Hester retired from Chrysler after 32 years of service. She loved her family and loved Jesus. Survived by her children, Deborah (Roger) Thornton, Mary (Daniel Runyan) Dittbenner, Keith (Maureen) Ransom, Lisa (Jerry) Woods, Lara (David Miller) Latino; grandchildren, Terry (Becky) Potenziani, Michael Ransom, Lori Potenziani, Christopher Ransom, Ashley Fisk, Bryan Ransom, Kody Fisk, Melissa (Erich) Von Gillern, Lindsay Woods; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Dominick, Liliana, Kylee, Treston, Carson, Nevaeh, Malyha, Myle, Morgan and Logan; nephew, Charles (Rhonda) Ransom, and good friend, Bill "Gomer" Lockheart. Preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Per Hester's request, no services will be held. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private interment in West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Hester's family is grateful for the loving care provided by Chandra, RN and Starr, CNA of Heartland Hospice, as well as the staff at Rosewood Care Center, especially Julie, RN, Chelle, RN, Suzie, RN Jasmine, CNA, and Carolyn with BCCA.
