Helen Irene Bird, 94, of Rockford died on December 17, 2017 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born on May 17, 1923 in Rockford. Helen was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Survived by her children, Thomas (Nancy) Luepkes, Amber Allen and Marlena; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her first husband, John Luepkes, second husband, Jerry Bird; and numerous siblings. No services will be held. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
