Gwendolyn Lynn Magyar, 36, of Loves Park, formerly of Oak Forest; died on April 25, 2018 in Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. Born on March 10, 1982 in Hazel Crest, daughter of Kenneth Magyar and Moira Birkmire. Wendy was a resident at Walter Lawson Children's Home. She loved listening to music, playing with toys and swimming. Wendy loved eating carrots and peas and her favorite snack was Cheetos. She enjoyed watching the movie Frozen. She is survived by her parents; half-sister Cathy Birkmire; uncle, George (Sharon) Magyar; and aunt, Gloria Wilson. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Pauline Magyar, who provided Wendy with loving care. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Walter Lawson for their compassion and care over the last 25 years. Memorial Visitation on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 S. Alpine Rd. Rockford – at Colonial Village.
