Gregory Allen Wakenight, 62, of Rockford died October 29, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 21, 1960 in Rockford. Son of Merle and Lois (Price) Wakenight. Formerly employed as a metal worker. Raised 3 of his 5 children on his own. Loved his family, and enjoyed anything to do with art. Greg is survived by children; Crystal Wakenight, Amanda (William) Vronch, Jeremy Wakenight;grandchildren; William Jr., Diamond, Cortney, Kathryn, Ashley, Dante, Zekahri, Alexandria, Seth, Luke; siblings; David Eugene Wakenight, Denise Lindeman, Tom (Amy) O'Dowd, George (Terina) Worley, Lloyd Anderson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron O'Dowd; former wife, Johnna Wakenight; and son, Joshua Wakenight. Celebration of life on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 5pm at David and Mackenzie Wakenight's home. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
