Gregory A. Horner, 50 of Rockford died on July 24, 2011 in his home. He was born on March 25, 1961 in Rockford, son of Harry and Kathleen (Johnson) Horner. Graduate of East High School. Formerly employed at Rockford Midland Corporation as an Engineer. He was an avid fisherman. Survived by his daughter, Kimberly Hoover of Rockford; sister, Karla (Chris) Kurshinsky of Rockford; niece, Ashley Greenwell, nephew, Samuel Kurshinsky; numerous cousins; and his dog Max. Preceded in death by his parents, and several Aunts and Uncles. Private services will be held. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
