Gregory E. Camp, 78, of Rockford died on October 5, 2024. Born October 2, 1946; son of Robert and Elizabeth (Kronka) Camp. Attended Wheaton Central and Glenbard West High Schools. Greg retired at the age of 50 from Chrylser, where he was employed as a Division Supervisor. He was a talented stained glass artist. Greg loved spending time with his beloved dog, Ozzy. He was an awesome father and loving grandfather. Member of the American Legion Boone Post #77. Survived by his sons; Paul G. (Lynn) Camp, Mark R. Camp, Mitchell C. (Christina) Camp; grandchildren, Sydney, Mya, Kendall, Evan, Lola; siblings, Bruce (Gloria) Camp, Jeff (Catherine) Camp, Debra (Bob Hackiewicz) Jolley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend, Stacy Meyers; and former spouses, Candace Pieper, Debrah Daniels, Leslie Dean and Melly Portales. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Camp, daughter-in-law, Rochelle Camp and niece, Sarah Camp. Cremation rites accorded. Celebration of life will be held in the future.
