Loving Mother, Grandma, Grandmee and Sister
Gloria D. Gray departed to her afterlife on August 13, 2011 after complications from a massive stroke. Born on November 9, 1937 in Greenbriar, Tenn., daughter of Edward T. and Georgia Helen Choate. She lived a happy and fulfilled life. Resided in Rockford and Baraboo, WI. Retired from Eagle/Highlander bakery. She is survived by her children; Melvin E. (Jeanelle) Rill, Helen Yvonne Rill, Suzanna K. (Matt) Hodges, Richard L. (Amanda) Rill, Gloria J. Rill, Connie L. Rill all of Rockford, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Yvonne Hood of Rockford; Preceded in death by her parents and son, Billy John Rill. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Pastor Bill Rieser will officiate. Visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Heartland Community Church or Rosewood Care Center in Gloria's name.
