Frank E. Znoy, 72, of Rockford went to be with Jesus on September 5, 2017.  Born on November 13, 1944 in Chicago, son of Frank and Mary (Lipka) Znoy.  Frank worked at Roper Whitney as a Welder for 25 years.  He was a member of Empowering Word Ministries.  Survived wife, Elaine; children, Robert and Laura Znoy of Rockford; siblings, Carol Kuzara of Chicago, Jim Znoy of Chicago, Paul Znoy of Iron Mountain, MI; very special friends, Russ, Dawn, Abigail, Carl, Willard and Nora  Rozana; and beloved dog, Lucy.  Preceded in death by brother, Joe Znoy and parents.   Memorial Visitation on September 16, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. at Empowering Word Christian Center; 4010 E. State Street, Rockford.  Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. at the church.  Pastor Alvin White will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
