Frances Aronica, of Rockford was born on November 9, 1933, in Palermo, Sicily . Frances passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on March 23, 2026. Frances was the devoted wife of Armando Aronica, with whom she shared a lifetime rooted in faith, tradition, and the strong Sicilian heritage that shaped their family's presence in Rockford. Together they built a warm and welcoming home where family always came first. She was the loving mother of Kelly (Patrice) Aronica, Rick (Theresa) Aronica, Mary (Brian) Tjenstrom, and Salvatore Aronica. Frances's greatest joy came from raising her children, cooking authentic Italian Food, and watching her family grow through the generations. She was the proud grandmother of Gregg (Rachel) Aronica, Ariel Aronica, Eric (Carissa) Tjenstrom, Allison (Dustin) Smith, Brandon Aronica, Nathan Bond, Brandon Kolthoff, Ricky Aronica, Salvatore (Jessica) Aronica Jr., Tiffany (Billy) Henson and Amanda Aronica. She was blessed with many loving great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Frances will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the gentle way she cared for everyone around her. She carried herself with quiet strength, always putting her family before herself. Her home was a place of comfort, good food, and unconditional love - a true reflection of the heart she shared with the world. She is survived by her sisters Virginia Lucchese, and Pina Allen. She is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Armando Aronica, her son Salvatore "Sal" Aronica, her father Salvatore Lo Giudice and her mother Domenica Cavallaro. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Visitation Monday, March 30, 2026 from 11 am until 11:45 am, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 p.m to 12:45 PM. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services 4301 N. Main St. Rockford. Father William Wentink will officiate. Graveside Service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 1PM 8616 W. State Rd.
