Marion "Eric" Turner died on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 12:25 a.m. in his residence. He was born on August 31, 1949 in Piggott, Ark, son of Marion "Gerald" and Lillian (Moffett) Turner. Served in the US Marine Corp. Eric loved cooking, drawing and fishing. He was very handy and excellent at building things. He is survived by his sons, Brandon and Nicholas Turner, and their mother, Tambra Turner all of Rockford; father, Gerald (Linda) Turner of Mill Creek; brother, Robert (Rose) Turner of Rockford. Predeceased by his mother, and sister, Georgetta Wright. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., please call the funeral home for further details. Cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family for Eric's children. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
