Eli Edward Gee, 10 weeks, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born March 15, 2011, Eli is the son of Robert Gee and Terrie Stein. During his short time on earth, Eli touched many lives and was loved deeply by his family and friends. Eli is survived by his parents and his sister, Cheyenne Gee. He is also survived by paternal grandparents, Michelle Gee of Belvidere and Richard Gee of Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Theresa Merritt-Stein, Edward Stein of Belvidere and Caresa Lauren Stein of Texas; paternal great-grandparents, Joan and Gary Lindsey of Belvidere and John and Sharon Gee of Kentucky and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 2 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 South Alpine Road, Rockford. Rabbi Binah Wing will officiate.
