Eleanor G. D'Alessandro, 89 of Rockford died at 9:10 am on July 19, 2010 at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Eleanor was born on April 9, 1921 in Chicago; daughter of Nathan and Anna Goldman. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (John) Miller of Rockford; son, John Jay D'Alessandro; grandsons, Nicholas Sparacino of Rockford, Anthony Sparacino of Poplar Grove; sister, Lucille (Robert) Levy of Skokie, and niece, Diane Levy. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband John. A private graveside service will be held. The family extends their thanks to the staff of Fairhaven for the loving care they provided.
