Edward Wayne Scurti, 92, of DeKalb passed away peacefully in DeKalb on June 19, 2023. Born April 20, 1931 in Ottawa; son of Arthur and Pearl (Pia Vighi) Scurti. Edward served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954 as a firefighter, and in 1954 he was united in marriage to Lois Wark in Caribou, Maine. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an active lifetime member of the American Legion, an early member of the Ottawa Rescue Squad, and a retiree of LOF. Edward enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and volunteering at the Ogle County Park District. He is survived by his wife, Lois, and daughter, Lorraine (Tom Winkle) Scurti.
