Eddie B. Foreman, 64 of Beloit, formerly of Rockford died on Friday at 7:40 a.m. at Asta Care Center. Eddie was born on April 14, 1946 in Camden, AR, son of E.B. and Lillian Foreman. Graduate of Harlem High School, class of 1966 when he lettered in Football, Basketball and Track. He was an outstanding athlete who enjoyed both watching and participating in sports. Received his Bachelor Degree from Morehead State in Minnesota. Formerly employed as a CNC Operator at Besley and also worked at Gunnite. He retired from Reynolds (Alcoa) Eddie was an excellent cook, he loved eating Jam Cake and the fish that he caught on his many fishing trips. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Survived by his long time friend and mother of his children, Tamela King of Beloit, WI; children, Edward J. "EJ" King, Carissa King, Marcus King, all of Beloit, Robert King of Minneapolis, MN; siblings, Edward (Alona) Foreman of Houston, TX, Larry Foreman of Fulton, Georgia, Donell (Diane) Foreman of Rockford, Barbara Getter of Rockford, Mary Ann (Harold Robinson) Foreman of Machesney Park, Lora Foreman of Rockford; 16 grandchildren; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and special friends; Alvin "Dwayne" Triplett, Joe Lewis Graham, Jimmy Spant, and Fred Fort. Preceded in death by his parents an nieces, Dashawna and LaZaria. A celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Miracle Temple Faith and Holiness Church 816 Marchesano Dr. Rockford, with Pastor Robert Rucker officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
