On November 2nd, 2016, Dwight "Butch" Nattinger, 69, of Beloit, Wisconsin passed away in the loving embrace of his family at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Butch, who was affectionately referred as "Punka" by his granddaughter Sofia, was born on February 26, 1947 to Kerlin and Elvera (Schupmann) in Chicago, Illinois and united in marriage to Debra Weber on December 10, 1977. First and foremost, Butch will be remembered as a man of devout Christian faith and strong family values. As a husband, father, uncle, and grandfather he positively shaped the lives of his loved ones for generations to come. Although Butch experienced many challenges to his health over his life, he never let any of those challenges stand in the way of his love and support for his family and friends. In addition to his love and determination, Butch will fondly be remembered for his remarkable storytelling, his love of cookies and candy, and his unwavering support for the Chicago Cubs and Bears (in fact, we are quite certain he helped the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years). Butch was preceded in his passing by his parents and brothers, John, Robert, and James and is survived by his loving wife, Debra of Beloit, Wisconsin; children, John, James (Kimberly), Amanda Faith (Chase) Haug, Dr. Matthew (Jenna), Hayley (Lyle), and Peter (Adriana); grandchildren, Magen (Miguel) Perez, Rachel and Sofia, Colton Wilder-Nattinger, Helena and Renndyn Haug; great-granddaughter on the way, Jacquelyn Perez; and several nephews. Needless to say, Butch will be terribly missed and remembered fondly.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at 11:30am until the service begins at 12:30pm, with a luncheon to follow. Rev. Dennis M. Roser will officiate.
