Dorothea L. Roeh and her beautiful smile were welcomed into heaven on June 8, 2015, and all of the angels rejoiced. Dorothea was born on August 2, 1931 in St. Louis, MO; daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Grebing)Waser. She attended Cleveland High School and Miss Hickey's School for Secretaries, both in St. Louis and worked as a Secretary for Sverdrup & Parcel (Engineers) in St. Louis. As a young adult she was very active in the St. Louis Lutheran Walther League youth group. Married Kenneth Roeh in November 1955 Moved to Rockford in 1974, and worked for Sundstrand for almost 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a member of the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid Society. She loved going to her grandchildren's many concerts and athletic events. Dorothea enjoyed doing puzzles and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Survivors include her children; Kathryn (Peter) Enge of Edwardsville, Karen (Steve) Blomgren of Rockford; grandchildren; Jeffrey, Daniel and Jill Enge, Michelle and Elizabeth Blomgren; brother, Clarence (Betty) Waser; sister-in-law, Luthera Waser all of St. Louis; son-in-law, Russell Robertson of Hannibal, MO; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her daughter, Kristen Robertson; brother, Ralph Waser; parents and special friend Doris Reck. Funeral Service on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 827 16th Street, Rockford. Rev. Stephen J. Klemp will officiate. Visitation at 10 a.m. until the time of service.
