Doris Lorraine Hissey, 84, of Rockford died on July 30, 2021. Born on September 4, 1936 in LaCrosse, WI; daughter of James and Laura (Travnick) Parkhurst. Graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, WI class of 1954. Doris retired from Gray's Foods IGA on Sandy Hollow, where she worked as the Deli Manager. She was the best cook ever, creating wonderful family meals that are fondly remembered. Survived by children, Denise (Terry) Cesar of WI, Duane Ulrich of Rockford, Deanna (Doug) Konitski of Loves Park; son-in-law, Tim Feldt of OR; daughter-in-law, Diane Ulrich of GA 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Donna Jean Parkhurst of WI; and brother, Jim (Mary) Parkhurst of WI. Preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronald Ulrich Jr., Denis Ulrich; daughter-in-law, Donna Ulrich; daughter, Dolcey Feldt; former spouse, Ronald Ulrich Sr.; husband, William Hissey; and grandson, Donnie Ulrich. Doris' family is grateful to Provena Cor Mariae, St. Anne Place, and OSF Hospice for the loving care their staff provided. Private family graveside service will be held in the future.
