Donald B. Smith, 84 of Rockford died on July 29, 2010 at 10:00 am in his home. Donald was born on March 12, 1926 in Mineral Point, WI, son of Edward and Gladys Smith. He retired from Metal Crafters, where he worked as a supervisor. Donald is survived by his children, Debra (Charles) Holman of Rockford and James (Sheryl) Smith of Loves Park; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Harley Smith of Phoenix, AZ, Bill (Barb) Smith of Waynesville, North Carolina, Jackie Larkin of East Dubuque, IL. Predeceased by his parents and wife, Pat Smith.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 6-8 pm at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 South Alpine Road Rockford. To share a condolence online please visit www.graceFH.com .
