With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Donald Jay Pattison, age 53, of Rockford. Donald was a beacon of joy and laughter, a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend whose love touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His vibrant spirit and unwavering affection for his family and friends will forever remain in our hearts.

Donald was born on October 30, 1971 in Rockford. Donald's greatest joys were found in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for crafting delicious meals on the grill and spending time in the great outdoors. Whether fishing by the water or hosting cookouts, Donald had a way of bringing people together. His quick wit, warm humor, and love for being the center of attention turned every gathering into a cherished memory. He also shared a deep bond with his beloved dogs, Sydney and Skye, who brought him endless joy and companionship.

He is survived by his loving wife Kassie Pattison, siblings Suzanne (Brad), Michael (Denise), Patrick, Robert (Joanie), and a cherished extended family. Donald now joins in eternal peace with his parents Orlando and Joanne and his brother, Daniel (Carol) Pattison. He absolutely adored his nieces, nephews, and their children, who will carry on his legacy of love and laughter. Donald's memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.

Memorial Visitation on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10 am to noon, followed by a Celebration of Life at noon at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donald's memory may be made to his family. Share a memory or condolence at www.graceFH.com .
