Dawn Phyllis Ann Green, 92, of Machesney Park died on January 3, 2021 in her home, surrounded by her family. Born on December 22, 1928 in Wasua, WI; daughter of Frank and Anna Catherine (Branshaw) Synnott. United in marriage to Morris Green in November 1957. She was employed as a floral designer at Nelson's Flowers and BSanfield. Dawn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a talented floral arranger. She created a warm and loving home for her daughters and their extended circle of friends in their youth. Survived by her daughters; Barb (Donald McCauley) Walsh, Debra (Robert) Wolford, Cathy Button, Lynn (Ted) Lange; grandchildren, Melony Walsh, Lisa (Dale) Leden, Mark (Amy Sacksteder) Dickson, Michael Dickson, Crystal (Shane Crozier) Wolford, Trisha (Tim Tharp) Wolford, Tiffany Button, Tisha (Dave) Lewis, Christopher (Amy) Winder, Emily (Ryan) Winder; numerous grandchildren; and special friend, Diane (Danny) Gaines. Preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Robert Synnott. At Dawn's request, her body was donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois for the advancement of science. Her daughter Cathy provided Dawn with years of loving care and attention; Cathy's sisters are very grateful for the devotion she showed to their mom.
