Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather
David Hamilton Pierson, born on September 23, 1940, in Eau Claire, WI, son of Fay and Jean (Hubbard) Pierson, went home to meet his Lord and Savior on December 4, 2009. He graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School in 1958 and attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He worked part-time as a realtor in Rockford for over 10 years and retired as Inspector from Chrysler Corporation in 1997 after 30 years of employment. David loved antiques of all types and had been a member of a local Model-A club; he was also a gifted "story"teller. Survived by wife, Susan Heggemeier; five children, Chris (Mimi) Pierson, Debbie (Chad) Grieves, Becca (Dan) Ivancich, Amy (Karl) Preheim, and Eric (Missie) Pierson, five step-children; Jeffrey (Debbie) Davis, Robin (Kendra) Davis, Cary (Jonie) Davis, Nicole (Rich) Bossert, and Ryan Heggemeier. David will also be missed by his 20 grandchildren. Also surviving David is his sister Janet (Bill) Kyle of Washington; sister-in-law Jeanne Pierson. Preceded in death by his brother William Pierson. A visitation will be held in the Chapel of Heartland Community Church on Alpine Road on Monday, December 7, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Officiant Rev. Doug Thiesen.
