David A. Greenwood, 58, AKA Uncle Beef
Davis Junction - David A. Greenwood, 58, of Davis Junction passed away on March 5, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. David was born on Oct. 19, 1956. He married Tina Rarrick (Busse) Feb. 12, 1992. Dave graduated from the old Harlem High School in 1974. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a proud veteran. Dave was a very proud PaPa, he loved his little ladies Kylie and Kendall. Dave worked many years as Maintenance Supervisor in the plastic injection molding business. He also worked several years in maintenance at Anderson Packaging. Dave was a member, bartender and a great volunteer at the PFC Nest 507 and a member of the Navy Club Ship #1. Survivors include his wife, Tina; sons Cody Greenwood, Curt (Jen) Busse; granddaughters Kylie and Kendall Busse; mother Joyce Greenwood; brother Jerry (Joan) Greenwood; sisters Donna Greenwood and Jody Greenwood, Father and Mother-In-Law, Terry and Donna Barnes; sister-in-law Terri (Mike) Pederson, brother-in-law Carl (Vivian) Rarrick; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jerry Harezlak. Predeceased by his father James Greenwood. A special thank you to Debra from Heartland Hospice for all the special care she gave to Dave. Visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in The Rockford First Chapel, 5770 Spring Creek Rd. Rockford. Military honors at 3:30 p.m. provided by the Lt. Robert C. A.
