Darrell Mattis was born Nov. 14, 1949, and passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, from heart failure. He was employed at Rockford Products from 1968 to 1980, and Ballard Electric from 2000 to 2012. Everyone that knew him, knows he would give the shirt off his back for them. He loved his grandkids, fishing, and playing golf. Survived by his wife, LaVonne (Kite) Mattis; children, Jackie, Vickie, Debbie and Steven; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May, 4, at Grace Funeral & Cremation Service, 1340 S. Alpine Road.
