Daniel A. Lindberg, 79, passed away on February 1, 2024 at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born October 14, 1944 to Swan and Agda Lindberg in Oak Park. A long time Rockford resident, Dan was a Landscape Architect and a graduate of University of Illinois. He completed many commercial, residential, and public projects in the Rockford area; including bike paths, playgrounds and gardens; such as Millennium Fountain, Davis Park, the Sinisssippi Bike Path, the floral clock and the Sportscore. He survived by his children, Kirsten (Paul) Benson, Erika Feldstein and Daniel H. Lindberg of Rockford; and their mother Jeanne Lindberg and grandchildren, Kat and Sofie Benson and Isaac and Ben Feldstein as well as sister, Mary Gemmel of Des Plaines. He is predeceased by his parents and sisters, Martha Magura and Lois Mayer. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Grace Funeral & Cremation Services.
