Dale Robert Greenlee 60, of Pelion, South Carolina formerly of Rockford, passed away December 30, 2012 after a brief illness at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia South Carolina. He was born March 21, 1952 in Rockford the son of Robert and Phyllis (Dever) Greenlee. Dale attended Rockford Auburn High School. He worked as a truck driver for GP Trucking in South Carolina up to the time of his illness. He enjoyed riding his Harley and he played as an extra in the movie The Quick and the Dead. Dale is survived by his son David Clark and grandson Devon Robert Greenlee of Pelion, South Carolina, brothers Daniel (Linda) Greenlee of Washington, Indiana, David Greenlee of Rockford and Aunt Marilyn Jones of Prescott, Arizona. A Celebration of Dale's life will be held on will be Friday, February 15, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford, with visitation from 12:00 p.m., until the time of the services. Pastor Gordy Smith will officiate. Interment in Winnebago Cemetery.
