Clarence "Tommy" A. Thompson, 81, of Rockford died February 27, 2014 at 3:50 p.m. surrounded by his family. He was born on April 24, 1932 in Cazenovia, WI, son of Scott and Stella (Limekeller) Thompson. Graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1951. Served in the United State Airforce during the Korean War. Worked for Dasco Pro for 31 years, and umpired for the Rockford Park District for over 20 years. Member of the VFW and Moose Clubs. Survived by children, Theresa (Jeff) Johnston of Loves Park, Scott (Sheila) Thompson of McHenry; three grandchildren; siblings, Alyce Vlasak of Madison, WI, Helen Paroutka of Milwaukee, WI, Gerald (Mary) Thompson of Rockford, Philip Thompson of Cazenovia, WI. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Thompson; siblings, Irvin and Alfred Thompson. Memorial Service at St. Anthony Church, 32505 County Hwy V. Cazenovia, WI on April 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. Father Wesley will officiate. Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery in Cazenovia.
