Christine "Chris" Alexander, 64, of Rockford went to be with her Loving Savior Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Born October 14, 1954 in Rockford; to Clayton and Betty (Pike) Alexander. Graduate of Hononegah High School in 1972. Chris worked in the medical field for several years, retiring in 2016. Survivors include her mother, Betty (Pike) Alexander; sister, Catherine Alexander; brother, John (Linda) Alexander, Don (Joanne) Alexander; daughter, Melissa (Aaron) Fleming; grandchildren, Bryanna and Jacob Scharre, Degan Alexander, Natalie, Olivia, Andrew and Lydia Fleming; several nieces; nephews; grand-nieces; and grand-nephews. Predeceased by her father, Clayton Alexander. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 5656 Elevator Road, Roscoe, with fellowship and luncheon to follow. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at SwedishAmerican Hospital for their loving care of Chris. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
