Charles S. Lantz, 78, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Charles was born on March 25, 1939, son of Jesse and Mary Lantz. He was united in marriage to Kay Beair on September 23, 1979 in Rockford. Charles retired from Pridom Liquors which he co-owned with his wife. Survived by children, Margaret Ann (Brian) Sears, Logansport, IN, Michael Lantz, Marla (Eric) Wilson and Ray Lantz, all of Rockford; grandchildren Olivia Sears, Damon Lantz, Ashly Lantz, Chad Lantz, Allison Wilson and Gaven Metcalf; sister, Joann Sullivan of Rockford; and nephews Tom Sullivan of Stillman Valley and Brian Sullivan of Rockford. Preceded in death by his parents and wife. Funeral Mass in St. Bridget Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park on May 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
