Charles Wayne Hart, 72 of Rockford died on December 26, 2013 at 9:50 p.m. surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 10, 1941 in Rockford, son of Wayne Earl and Margaret (Kaehler) Hart. Charles met his wife Margaret at the Center for Sight and Hearing, where they worked together for many years. She preceded him in death on December 10, 2013. Survived by his son, Charles (Lisa) Hart of Rockford; grandchildren, Bear, Joshua (Michelle), and Tiffany Hart; great-grandson, Joshua "JC" Hart; step-mother, Bernice Hart; brothers, William "Bill" Hart of Loves Park, and Mike (Diana) Hart of Missouri. Preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Charles' family. The Hart family is grateful to Heartland Hospice, especially Lacey, Amy and Jane.
